All they could think of was steak!

The team has remained in constant touch with the racers throughout the event, passing on words of encouragement, snippets of local news and anything to keep their spirits up.

When times are hard sailor’s thoughts seem to always turn to food and a good hot meal. Even dreams are often filled with large T-bone steaks, baked potatoes and fresh salad. So what better a way to finish a long ocean race leg, then to tuck into a hearty feast.

Team concise contacted race organiser Josh hall and sailor Phillippa Hutton Squire, who invited all the racers to a dinner on Concise’s account. The pair acted as defacto hosts for Tony, Ned and all the guys in the UK.
